Exquisite vintage Japanese lacquerware chopstick box set from the 1950s. Black lacquer case hand-painted with Mount Fuji, pagodas, and pine trees in vivid colors. Contains 5 pairs of chopsticks decorated with gold flake and mother of pearl (abalone) inlay. Red satin-lined interior. Wall-mountable with hanging hole on back. Beautiful complete set in excellent vintage condition.
