Authentic set of antique opium weights from Burma and Thailand, dating to the 18th-19th century. Cast in brass in the shape of stylized lions (chinthes) and ducks (hong). These weights were traditionally used for weighing opium and are now highly prized collector items. Various sizes from 1.5 to 4 inches. Comes with lucite display base. Each weight is hand-cast with patina. Excellent provenance.
