Magnificent antique solid brass six-arm chandelier executed in the Neoclassical Revival / French Empire style, attributed to premier lighting house Edward F. Caldwell & Co. (circa 1900–1920). Features a massive polished circular brass hoop ring mounted with six high-relief cast brass lion head bosses. Six decorative heavy brass suspension chains connect the lower ring to an architectural central crown column. Six downward pendant flower-bud candle sockets suspend gracefully below the ring. Salvaged from a prominent 1875 historic Alabama residence. --- Attribution: Style of Edward F.
